## About the area

Long Island Village (LIV) is a waterfront community in Port Isabel, Texas (ZIP 78578), on the bay side of the Queen Isabella Causeway to South Padre Island. It sits across the water from SpaceX Starbase at Boca Chica.
StarBnB golf carts are for getting around inside the village: to brunch at the Signature Grill, a pickleball game, or a canal-side seat for the next Starship launch. Golf carts are not allowed on Port Isabel or South Padre streets, so trips to the island, the town or Starbase itself are by car.
StarBnB also rents vacation homes in Long Island Village and the Starbase area. See www.starbnb.io, or book a stay at book.starbnb.io.

## Booking

Choose a cart, pick the dates, and pay before leaving the site. Rentals are counted in nights, like a hotel stay: Saturday to Sunday is one night, and the return date is not another rental day.
Booking steps: cart, dates, contact details, Long Island Village lot and street, liability waiver, payment. The dates are held for 10 minutes once the Long Island Village address step is done, through the waiver and payment.
Nightly rates are before tax. Texas state and local sales tax, currently 8.25%, is added at checkout, and the total including tax is shown before payment.
A confirmation is emailed from StarBnB at carts@starbnb.io. That mailbox does not accept replies. Questions and changes go through the guest portal after a verified sign-in.
